Dear Mr. President

In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious Most Merciful

Salam and peace to all

This post was supposedly to be published on the February, but since I was so busy with my life, and had a little time to online, I decided to delay this post.

This time I wanna share a song that made me feel goosebumps whenever I heard it.
Why? Because it talks about responsibilities.
Responsibilities of a President who has the power as a leader.
It somewhat reflects to myself, questioning my own responsibility.
Because, I'm a leader for myself, and I have a big role for myself, my family, my religion, my nation, and my country.

Responsibility for me, is a big thing.

One shouldn't deny for.
Like what Peter Parker said in Spiderman 2 movie, "With a great power, comes a great responsibilities
I know, I don't have that 'big' power.
But I still have a big role.
I don't want to change the world, but I just want to change myself first.

Narrated Ma'qil: I heard Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise." [Sahih Bukhari]

I see lots of fraud everywhere in here, just because they want to get more money.
It's not a big fraud, it's just as simple as selling yesterday's dishes at your stall.
And even adding more water to gravies/sauces so that the amount increase.
Even for the salesperson, using the dirty way so that the products sold out.
Because money is never enough.
Because of the expenses is higher than incomes.
Because people will look you up if you have money.
Because corruption is seems normal nowadays.
That's the situation i observed.

I pray for the world with high integrity.
Where you can rely solely to the authority.
Where everything is base on trust, and reluctantly to break the trust.
Because of the faith.

I know this is not a dream.
I should start with myself first.
And now I'm still learning and it's my jihad.

Dear Mr. President, come take a walk with me.
Let's pretend we're just two people and you're not better than me.
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly.

What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?

Dear Mr. President,
Were you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
How can you say
No child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind.
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell.

What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine.

How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?

Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Hard work, Hard work
You don't know nothing 'bout hard work
Hard work, Hard work

How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Dear Mr. President,
You'd never take a walk with me.
Would you?
- Dear Mr. President by Pink

p/s~ I remember the discussion I had with Wafaa, Aufa, and Yana at Mamak restaurant till 3am.

Lord Of Ramadhan

Salam and Peace to all..

Last winter holidays was very meaningful and occupied (not just wasting time ^^)
I went to New Zealand for 2 weeks, touring both the north and south island
The reason I went there is because:
  1. This is my final year, so I need to grab a chance (but I do pray I can further study here)
  2. I don't have anywhere else to go since everyone mostly went back to Malaysia
  3. I love traveling (v)
Okay, there's gonna be a lot of stories regarding my visit to NZ
But I don't want to write them all, saving my time..haha
The only thing I want to point out is the scenery there, so breathtaking even the camera couldn't capture it
Subhanallah, everything that He's created has its own purpose, nobody can deny it.
I went to the Lord of the Ring film site, The Hobbiton.
You know, the movie was mostly filmed at New Zealand, because of its wonderful scenery that depicts the Middle Earth as the director imagined.
That movie, it is very symbolic to what the world's conflict and desire
What the world offers might entice us, but not as tempting as the Paradise

As Allah describe in the Quran:
"For them will be the home of peace (Paradise) with their Lord. And He will be their Wali (Protector and Helper) because of what they used to do" [Al-An'am 6: 127]
just imagine, a perfect house that complete with everything we wanted and needed, with safety and bodyguards, but a lot better than that..

Stop bout the nz and the movie, now I'm gonna talk bout the GUEST
Our house, the Famous Amess received a lot of guests every single day last holiday
Our Adelaide friends stayed at our house for the MCG
Muz friends from Malaysia stayed later then until this morning,
they had to postpone their  flight due to accident happened on the night of 14th July
Alhamdulillah, everyone survived and getting well
The guest should be treated kindly and generously
Like when I was in NZ, the people really treated us heart-warmingly and friendly
However, I apologise for any shortcomings on behalf of myself and the rest of my housemates

Now the Most VVIP Guest is coming and already here
It's Ramadhan, full of rahmat, the month of Quran, the best month ever
I should treat this month like it is my last Ramadhan, fear that I'll never meet it again
Hope that I will maintain the momentum, no, increase the momentum throughout this Ramadhan
Hope my Ramadhan this year will be better than last years..amin~

Ramadhan Kareem everyone!

Narrated Abu Huraira (RA): Allah's Apostle (SAW) said, "Allah said, 'All the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.' Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins. If one of you is fasting, he should avoid sexual relation with his wife and quarreling, and if somebody should fight or quarrel with him, he should say, 'I am fasting.' By Him in Whose Hands my soul is' The unpleasant smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. There are two pleasures for the fasting person, one at the time of breaking his fast, and the other at the time when he will meet his Lord; then he will be pleased because of his fasting." (Sahih Bukhari)

Lets enjoy this song~~
A song which has english, arabic, turkish and german lyrics

Bad Day

Where is the moment when needed the most
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost
They tell me your blue skies fade to grey
They tell me your passion's gone away
And I don't need no carrying on

my dear bad day..n everyone have their own bad day..when things that planned not going well..when finding urself in the middle of confusion, hatred or anger..

You stand in the line just to hit a new low
You're faking a smile with the coffee you go

You tell me your life's been way off line

You're falling to pieces everytime

And I don't need no carrying on

then, how we deal with it? pretend that nothing happen or cry for the whole day? it seems like flight or fight..either we runaway or get through with it..relating to the unconditioned n conditioned stimulus..give impact to our unconditioned or conditioned response..

'Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work on a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad day
You had a bad day

instead of blaming everyone around, should be asking to our own self,"are we the wrong-doers?" reflecting back the things that are done before..is it because of others or not..

Well you need a blue sky holiday
The point is they laugh at what you say

And I don't need no carrying on

why must care of what others might think..lead all the intentions(nawaitu) because of Allah..He is the one that holds each one's heart..jagalah hubungan dgn Allah n Allah akan jaga hubungan kita dgn yg lain..

Sometimes the system goes on the brink
And the whole thing turns out wrong

You might not make it back and you know
That you could be well all that strong

And I'm not wrong

actually, bad day is not always bad..there must be reasons behind either we notice or not..the test that Allah gives to the people that He loves..prevent us from going astray..how grateful is it?

So where is the passion when you need it the most
Oh you and I
You kick up the leaves and the magic is lost

should get closer to Him..as He miss so much to hear our prayer, our rintihan..He The One that should be ask for help, tempat utk kita mengadu..

well, dear bad day..i know that i can learn something on that day..something that would make me stronger,as a mujahadah n a fighter..n i know that i'm not alone in this world..there are my circle of trust around..just wanna quote what a wise man said:

"if we want to change our world, we do not begin by rectifying the outward. Instead,we must changed the condition of inward (the heart)." - Hamza Yusuf

Big Girls Don't Cry

at first..
all i thought my life here is very hard..being on my own feet..doing everything independently for the first time..plus,living far away from family n home..

moreover..
i'm in a non-muslim country where muslims here is the minority..totally different from m'sia..evoking back the first day of uni, wore baju kurung for the first time since my arrival, everyone in my class looked weird at me..isolation is somehow i felt that time..supposedly first day should going well as it's the start for tomorrow..the next days went on with the hard feeling that people maybe don't like you or afraid of you because you're a wierdo or something..

then..
sis fatimah told me that our baju kurungs are loved n envied by many..the Arabs even the mat salleh, they just looooove our baju kurung..should be proud to wear it..n,sis syikin said that people mistaken that baju kurungs as dress..u're soo rich to wear that to class..yup,that's right sis..those are just my pessimistic thoughts when homesick-ness feeling was all over me..

minority..
i came to these words one day:"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority,it is time to pause and reflect"-Mark Twain
i always been in majority before n sadly,i did not learn many..yeah,you'll never get something if you're in your comfort zone unless you're getting out of it..like katak di bawah tempurung..
even the beloved Prophet SAW said,"Jadilah kamu dikalangan orang yang sedikit.."
so,minority is not an issue here..as long you respect yourself,n everyone will respect you..need to stand tall because we're the best ummah..
sis aisya told me that we're not alone in this world..we're the majority..because all the trees, the skies, the leaves, they're all with us..the living things that zikir to Allah in everytime..proud to be muslim..yeay!

till one day..
i met a girl that change my perception towards life..how she faces this life with smile on her face although she's BLIND..plus,she's a muslim..i met her thrice but never had a chance to talk to her..i do not even know her name, what year she's in or what course she's doing but somehow she inspired me..to pass trough the hurdles of life with smile..*smile*
"i was miserable because i had no shoes until i met a man who had no feet"
compare to her,my life isn't hard at all..but why should i stop smiling when difficulties come? smile is sadaqah..you'll make people at ease when you smile n that will make u happy..girl,keep on smiling!

The path that I'm walking
I must go alone
I must take the baby steps until I'm full grown
Fairytales don't always have a happy ending, do they?
And I foresee the dark ahead if I stay

Its time to be a big girl now
And big girls don't cry

p/s~looking forward for next week...easter hols~~~ n my friends from canberra n clayton will come sleepover here..best best~~

* Opposition to anti-Jewish and anti-Islamic prejudice.
* Opposition to the apartheid and Zionist nature of the Israeli state.

Look into My Eyes - Outlandish

Look into my eyes
Tell me what you see
You don't see a damn thing
Cause you can't relate to me

You blinded by our differences
My life makes no sense to you
I'm the persecuted one
You the red, white and blue

Each day you wake in tranquility
No fears to cross your eyes
Each day I wake in gratitude
Thanking God He let me rise

You worry 'bout your education
And the bills you have to pay
I worry 'bout my vulnerable life
And if I'll survive another day

Ya biggest fear is getting a ticket
As ya cruise your Cadillac
My fear is that the tank that's just left
Will turn around and come back

Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Some one tell me

Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

See I've known terror for quite some times
57 years so cruel
Terror breathes the air I breathe
It's the check point on my way to school

Terror is the robbery of my land
And the torture of my mother
The imprisonment of my innocent father
The bullet in my baby brother

The bulldozers and the tanks
The gasses and the guns
The bombs that fall outside my door
All due to your funds

You blame me for defending myself
Against the ways of my enemies
I'm terrorized in my own land
And I'm the terrorist

Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Has our world gone all blind
Yet do u know the truth of where ya money goes
Do u let the media deceive your mind
Is this a truth that nobody knows
Some one tell me

Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

American do ya realize
That the taxes that u pay
Feed the forces that traumatize
My every living day

So if I won't be here tomorrow
It's written in my fate
May the future bring a brighter day
The end of our wait

Oh let's not cry tonight
I promise you one day it's through
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

Oh shine a light for every soul
That ain't with us no more
Ohohoh my brothers
Ohohoh my sisters

This song's lyrics are based on a poem by Gihad Ali, a Palestinian who wrote the piece when she was a teenager; the poem expresses the plight of those suffering from America’s foreign policy with regards to Israel and Palestine. The video is based around the fairy-tale Little Red Riding Hood. It portrays an Israeli soldier as the Wolf and the Palestinian girl, wearing a Kaffiyeh, as Little Red Riding Hood..

c'mon guys..let's boycott all the products that support Isreal..for the sake of our brothers n sisters that fight in fi sabilillah..

Time Is Running Out

A friend had forwarded this email to me..about the value of time..

To realize the value of a sister: Ask someone who doesn't have one.
To realize the value of ten years: Ask a newly divorced couple.
To realize the value of four years: Ask a graduate.
To realize the value of one year: Ask a student who has failed a final exam.
To realize the value of nine months: Ask a mother who gave birth to a still birth.
To realize the value of one month: Ask a mother who has given birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of one week: Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of one hour: Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of one minute: Ask a person who has missed the train, bus or plane.
To realize the value of one-second: Ask a person who has survived an accident...
To realize the value of one millisecond: Ask the person who has won a silver medal in the olympics

Time waits for no one.
Time is really important to human kind. Even Allah swears with 'time' in the several ayah in Al-Quran. Treasure every moment you have. You will treasure it even more.

"Bismillahhirrahmanirrahim..
By (the Tokens of) time (through the Ages)..
Verify Man is in loss..
Except such as has Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy"
[103,1-3]

They say, "time is money/gold"..it's really valuable that you can get it easily..
I say,"time is like a mind"..it's a gift..depend on how people use it..how they appreciate it..you're smart if you fully use it and stupid if you waste it..

Whatever it is, I'm still in a learning process..learn to manage my time wisely..i take lesson from my life at intec..manage time is my big challenge..hope my life will get easier at melbourne soon..learn from the mistake..

"if you fail to plan, you plan to fail"
"good preparation for tomorrow is doing the best for today"

Insya Allah~~

Here In My Home

I heard a song by Malaysian Artis For Unity..it was compose n written by Pete Teo..
I like the lyrics n the song and tried to upload the song but it takes too much time..
so,i post the lyrics first..

Hold on brother hold on
The road is long, we're on stony ground
But I'm strong, and you ain't heavy

Oh there's a misspoken truth that lies
Colours don't bind oh no
What do they know? They speak falsely

Here in my home
I'll tell you what's it all about
There's just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That's what it's all about
Please won't you fall in one by one by one with me?

Fall in with me
Fall in Fall in Fall in with me

Push back sister won't you push back?
Love won't wait, just keep pushing on
Yes I'm strong, you ain't heavy

Oh don't you worry about that
What we have shadows can't deny
Don't you know it's now or never?

Here in my home
I'll tell you what's it all about
There's just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That's what it's all about
Please won't you fall in one by one by one?

Years of fears and years of tribulation
The heart keeps searching for that endless devotion
Hand in hand we'll march like blood brothers
I speak for my people, hope we'll find peace forever
May the road ahead quench my thirst for success
May the road behind echo the song of the blessed
Yes I feel it in my bones, so I will let it be known
No matter where I roam this is home sweet home
Sing!

Here in my home
I'll tell you what's it all about
There's just one hope here in my heart
One love undivided
That's what it's all about
Please won't you fall in one by one by one with me?

After I heard it, I think bout my home,my country, Malaysia..
How much I'm grateful and proud to be Malaysian..
Then, i start to think about the Palestinian..
This is their hopes, what they want to feel peace in their own home..
No matter what, we, the Malaysian should appreciate the peace that we obtain after 51 years..
Even we have different colours, backgrounds, Hand in hand we'll march like blood brothers...
"Hujan emas di negeri orang, hujan batu di negeri sendiri, lebih baik di negeri sendiri"
