Salam and peace to all
This post was supposedly to be published on the February, but since I was so busy with my life, and had a little time to online, I decided to delay this post.
This time I wanna share a song that made me feel goosebumps whenever I heard it.
This time I wanna share a song that made me feel goosebumps whenever I heard it.
Why? Because it talks about responsibilities.
Responsibilities of a President who has the power as a leader.
It somewhat reflects to myself, questioning my own responsibility.
Because, I'm a leader for myself, and I have a big role for myself, my family, my religion, my nation, and my country.
Responsibility for me, is a big thing.
It somewhat reflects to myself, questioning my own responsibility.
Because, I'm a leader for myself, and I have a big role for myself, my family, my religion, my nation, and my country.
Responsibility for me, is a big thing.
One shouldn't deny for.
Like what Peter Parker said in Spiderman 2 movie, "With a great power, comes a great responsibilities"
I know, I don't have that 'big' power.
But I still have a big role.
I don't want to change the world, but I just want to change myself first.
Narrated Ma'qil: I heard Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, "Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise." [Sahih Bukhari]
I see lots of fraud everywhere in here, just because they want to get more money.
It's not a big fraud, it's just as simple as selling yesterday's dishes at your stall.
And even adding more water to gravies/sauces so that the amount increase.
Even for the salesperson, using the dirty way so that the products sold out.
Because money is never enough.
Because of the expenses is higher than incomes.
Because people will look you up if you have money.
Because corruption is seems normal nowadays.
That's the situation i observed.
I pray for the world with high integrity.
Where you can rely solely to the authority.
Where everything is base on trust, and reluctantly to break the trust.
Because of the faith.
I know this is not a dream.
I should start with myself first.
And now I'm still learning and it's my jihad.
But I still have a big role.

Dear Mr. President, come take a walk with me.
Let's pretend we're just two people and you're not better than me.
I'd like to ask you some questions if we can speak honestly.
What do you feel when you see all the homeless on the street?
Who do you pray for at night before you go to sleep?
What do you feel when you look in the mirror?
Are you proud?
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye
And tell me why?
Dear Mr. President,
Were you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
Are you a lonely boy?
How can you say
No child is left behind?
We're not dumb and we're not blind.
They're all sitting in your cells
While you pave the road to hell.
What kind of father would take his own daughter's rights away?
And what kind of father might hate his own daughter if she were gay?
I can only imagine what the first lady has to say
You've come a long way from whiskey and cocaine.
How do you sleep while the rest of us cry?
How do you dream when a mother has no chance to say goodbye?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Can you even look me in the eye?
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Minimum wage with a baby on the way
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Rebuilding your house after the bombs took them away
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Building a bed out of a cardboard box
Let me tell you 'bout hard work
Hard work, Hard work
You don't know nothing 'bout hard work
Hard work, Hard work
How do you sleep at night?
How do you walk with your head held high?
Dear Mr. President,
You'd never take a walk with me.
Would you?
