Closer to You

Last Saturday,had a wonderful chance to go to Philip's Island to watch Penguin Parade..went there with 2 vans and that's for sisters only..together with my housemate,my friends and seniors..the journey take around 2hours and about 140km from melbourne..

first destination, San Remo to watch Pelican feeding..but we arrive late there..only 4 Pelican birds left..first time to see this bird in real cause before this just watch in cartoon movies which they carried babies in their mouth..what a mitos..the interesting is,the way they fly..they run few steps first and flew..just like an application of aeroplane..subhanallah~ how Allah's creation inspired the engineers..

then,had lunch n solat jama' under the bridge..ate food brought from home, nasi n chicken cooked by the seniors..got my first experience to solat at the public facing the beautiful view of the sea..felt close to the ground remind me that we're made of it and will be like it once we die..so touching~

we continued our journey to the chocolate factory..best..hehe~ got free sample..but to enter the factory we need to pay $12..sis intan said last year was free..at last,we decide to go to the shop je..there's so many chocolate and i thought i wanna bought them all..haha~ i bought 2 n sis syahirah treat me 1..thanx sis~

after that,went to the wildlife park..met kangaroo,wallabies,woombat,koala bear,emu,etc..had the chance to feed the kangaroo although 'takut2' to get near them..when they stand just as tall as me..what if the kangaroo kick me? scary rite? haha..at least dpt amek few photos..even just posing je..quite geli when feed them and their saliva feel on ur hand..yerk~

next destination,the Nobbies to watch sunset..subhanallah~ so beautifull..stroll along the broadwalk,with the breeze,watch the view remind me more more to Allah..the greatest creator..looked the waves crashing on the rocks made me feeling relax n peace..i stood there for almost an hour just to watch at the crashed waves..getting captivated..so mesmerize..even just a simple thing could make me calm..Ya Allah..everything that You created between the land and skies have reasons behind..sis aisya told me,"there must be a reason why you're here..why Allah chose you instead of others to be here..to learn something,to realize something and to value something."..jazakillah sis..ur words have deep meaning inside..
Finally,went to watch Penguin Parade..yezza~~ although by that time we all mostly tired already but still eager to watch those little penguin..the smallest penguin in the world..only 1kg weight..yeah,really2 need patient..we wait a bit longer for the penguin to appear..what i learnt from them,the feeling of togetherness..like a parade,they wait for all of them to appear but if one or two missing,all of them will swim back to the sea untill their group complete n do sort of penguinwalk to their burrow..chumell~ sgt chumell~ but,like i said before,need patient n focus..huhu~

the way back is another story..we stop at one oil station n perform solat jama' at the car park..while we waiting,there was a guy,halfly drunk come towards the jemaah..offering free ticket he said..then,his gf(i think) came..he looked blurr..bcuz didn't get any respon from the jemaah..then asked her gf,"what they're doing?"..she just said dunno n pull him away..quite scary if anything happen to the jemaah..next story,around 1.30am..when the vans want to make turn to the carpark at my apartment..there 4guys,stopped in front of the van..all of them are totally drunk..trying to open the front door..nway,thank god..it was locked..they said rude words,laughed n then blah..very frightened n shocked..u know type of mat salleh guy..they're tough n tall..only Allah that can help us that time..yup,my apartment in the city area..i told u before,saturday night is a curfew night..especially that very late night..dun ever go out or u'll get into trouble..

so tired,happy,fun and meaningful journey to me..hope next time can go jln2 lg..but,as class started n we're getting bz..still have many place not discover yet..if God will,wanna come again to Philip's Island..insya Allah~
