Seminggu Berhari Raya

my first time in my life hari raya without my family beside me..in perantauan..far away from my homecountry..

no more 'Balik Kampung', bakar2 lemang, kemas2 rumah like change new curtain, maen bunga api n the list goes on..

but that will not be the reasons for not celebrate my raya,rite? 

i did went to shopping for raya, made kuih raya, sang raya song etc..

malam raya:

went to malaysian hall..had my iftar for da last day of Ramadhan there..foods sponsored by tauke Lazzat (a well-known malay restaurant at melbourne)..then had takbir raya n at da same time me n my friends celebrating fadh's birthday there..n dat day also my lil bro's birthday..after went back home,called my family in malaysia,wish them Selamat Hari Raya n Happy Birthday to my bro too..called my grandma but didn't have chance to talk to her cause she's at mosque that time, and finally called my maksu at Sabah..then, as you might expect, i was crying that night..feeling homesick n really2 wanna going back home to celebrate raya with family..

1st raya:

wake kinda late..rushing with anith to catch train to flemington for Solat Hari Raya..but once we arrived, it's khutbah at that time..in arabic..of course i don't understand la kan..so we just headed to anith's house (1st destination)..ayra served me with her hand-made rendang, nasi impit n choc chip cookies..yummylicious..then, together with tee,muz,fadh n anith, went to cade square (2nd destination)..they combined with cade way => the cadies..next, to St. Ambrose Hall, MASCA's open house (3rd destination)..lots of people there and only few foods left..made me realize there're so many malaysian in melbourne actually..even we are not with our family,we still have friends that also without their family here to celebrate with..next, to the avenue (4th destination)..had sis lin's nasi dagang..rest for a while then headed to arden (5th destination)..ate something that i never eat before,ketupat sotong..seriously sgt2 sedap smpi my tudung n baju skali mkn..lol~ need to clean it and spray perfume on that spot..then, ayin's house at college square (6th destination)..ayin's rendang mmg superb..dah layak buat menantu..huhu~ and went back to flinders as the final destination (not the scary part,k..not like those final destination movies)

2nd raya:

do nothing at all..stick in front of lappie, watched one tree hill season3 series for the whole day..and at night went to Monash uni for ISMA's open house..

3rd raya:

not really productive day..stick in front of lappie again tried to finish season3 one tree hill for the whole day n night..movie-ing with my housemate in front of lappie again..

4th raya:

waked up late..then,stick in front my lappie..one tree hill time again..had 'raya' ice-cream at il dolce with my housemate n fadh..webcam with my sis..then finally scary movie-ing with my housemate watching My Bloody Valentine..scary giler..for those yg ada heart problem jgn tgk citer ni..yg bisu pn jgn,cause you'll scream your lungs out..trust me..

5th raya:

watching one tree hill season4 already....going out to aldi, need to buy some groceries..supposedly going to vicmark but,emm....vicmark already closed..fadh stay over that night..we went to fed square n skydeck..priceless experience..cause money can't buy you the feeling when melbourne city just under your feet..but then,still need money to pay 2 expensive tickets (even with concession) and a nicely taken picture..spent about aud32.25 just for one night..fuh~ enough for once in a lifetime experience..

6th raya:

went to vicmark..buy some vegies, something for my family and finally a red sheep skin fur..yezza..hope my mom will be happy with that..hehe~ then,again stick in front of my lappie watching one tree hill..the only thing that always with me in this boring raya and spring break..that's why they said world at your fingertip..

7th raya:

off to wilson prom for camping..

thanks so much to my lappie for always be with me during these boring days..thanks also to my friends,who also stuck at their own lappie, but still have time to hang out together..thanks to my family for always contacts me so that i'll not feel left alone here..thanks all~

well,watching one tree hill is my addiction now..why not? they have interesting storyline about basketball, music, friends and family values..they have meaningful quotes to make you ponder..they have great actors..and mostly, chad michael murray in it..*winkz*
